As a Spare parts and service Coordinator, you would be responsible for managing and coordinating spare parts and service activities within our organization. This role involves ensuring the availability of spare parts, coordinating service requests, and maintaining effective communication with internal teams and customers. The Spare Part & Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring the timely delivery of spare parts and efficient service support.

JOB ROLE:

Spare parts management:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts to meet customers’ demands.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts.
  • Keep accurate records of spare parts inventory, including stock levels, orders, and receipts.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.

Service Coordination:

  • Receive and process service requests from customers or internal teams.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on service requests, including estimated arrival times and service durations.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure they have the necessary information and materials to complete service tasks.
  • Follow up on completed service requests to ensure customer satisfaction and address any outstanding issues.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Liaise with internal teams, including sales, production, and logistics, to gather relevant information and provide updates on spare parts availability and service schedules.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to obtain accurate and up-to-date information on spare parts availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, complaints, or requests for technical assistance.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and timely resolution of issues.

Process improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements related to spare part management and service coordination.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve service efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to spare parts and service activities and take corrective actions as required.
