Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient operations of our warehouse facility. As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing storage and distribution processes, ensuring workplace safety, and leading a team of warehouse staff. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining accurate inventory levels, meeting order fulfillment targets, and fostering a productive and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven track record in warehouse management.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

-Oversee the accurate receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy at all times.
-Implement inventory control measures to prevent discrepancies, losses.
-Regularly conduct inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain data integrity.

Team Leadership and Supervision:

-Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, including supervisors, clerks, and forklift operators.
-Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide guidance to ensure the team’s productivity and effectiveness.
-Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

operational Efficiency:

-Streamline warehouse processes to optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
-Develop and implement best practices for order picking, packing, and shipping to meet customer demands.
-Monitor and improve turnaround times for order fulfillment and outbound shipments.

Safety and Compliance:

-Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
-Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse staff and address any potential safety hazards promptly.
-Maintain a clean and organized warehouse layout to facilitate safe and efficient operations.

Inventory Planning and Forecasting:

-Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory levels based on demand forecasts.
-Analyze historical data and market trends to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.

Vendor and Customer Relations:

-Coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and address any issues related to incoming goods.
-Collaborate with customer service teams to manage order priorities and resolve any fulfillment-related inquiries.

Reporting and Analysis:

-Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, including inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and operational metrics.
-Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance warehouse operations.

Requirements:

-logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
-Proven experience 5 years in warehouse management or a similar role.
-Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Proficiency in using warehouse management software and other relevant tools.
-In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and regulations.
-Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
-Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
